by ERICA LIEPMANN, Causecast Associate Editor
Bloggers everywhere, this one’s for you!
This October 15, you can use your blog to take part in Blog Action Day, an annual event that unites bloggers around the world in a single global discussion about an important issue. When thousands of people post blogs about the same topic on the same day, we can reach an audience of millions, to raise awareness about the critical issues facing our world.
Each year, Blog Action Day tackles a different global issue. Blog Action Day 2008 focused on the crisis of global poverty. As an online cause community, Causecast was excited to be a part of this innovative global dialogue about poverty.
Here’s Causecast leaders Max and Jason doing the Blog Action Day 2008 wrap-up:
This year, Blog Action Day will take on the issue of climate change, bringing thousands of bloggers together to raise awareness around the threat of global climate change.
Register your blog to participate October 15 – over 5,000 bloggers are already signed up! This year, use your Causecast community to get the conversation rolling on Blog Action Day. Post your blog on your Causecast profile, tag it “Blog Action Day 09” and we’ll feature it on our homepage!
