Peace Film To Be Screened In Afghanistan

Just over a year ago, actor Jude Law accompanied filmmaker Jeremy Gilley to Afghanistan as part of Gilley’s documentary “The Day After Peace”, a follow up to his successful “Peace One Day” initiative, which established World Peace Day (every Sept 21st) and a subsequent documentary film of the efforts. After Law was in a promotional segment for the film, he asked Gilley if he could accompany him to Afghanistan.
Gilley’s efforts over the years have been wildly successful, and have made a tremendous impact since after the UN adopted his idea for World Peace Day. Now, Gilley and Law are hoping they can return to Afghanistan to screen the film.
