Why I Participate

Becoming active in my community has always been in the back of my mind, it's not until the past year or so that I've the urge and the need to step forward and believe in what i once thought to be was impossible or pointless. I've made and continue to make the best out of every situation and fight every battle that life throws at me, I am young and a big dreamer...I feel that I am growing everyday and hope to reach and gain experiences to better myself and use the knowledge I have been and will be learning to help others. Every since I was young, I've been told "You don't need to be the hero." and for the longest time I've let that keep me down. But now the only thing that's going down is my foot and I will never have a problem replying to that comment with a "Why not try?" Nothing is Impossible.

About Me

I usually don't take the time to write bios out, getting to know someone is something i believe should be left to a personal conversation and interaction. But I have a voice and this is a good website so it's worth my while. I have an old and gentle soul, I'm easily fascinated and I find a lot in every day to be inspiring for the next. I'm passionate about many things, life, art, animals, children, family, culture, power of positive thinking, giving back, and more. I do consider myself a misunderstood person, unfortunately, by both my family and peers that I've been surrounded by majority of my life. But I'm secure with who I am and who I want to become, I've got plenty bundles of tomorrows to make up for the yesterdays. I'm extremely independent, I'm in my final year of high school and am working a part time job, it's all very time consuming but if I had more of a choice...I would spend a whole lot more time making art and reading stories to kids.

My Interest

I was that sort of kid carrying around a sketch pad and little tin of crayons and markers and pencils, and to this day I never bother to wash all of the paint of clay off of my fingers. Whether it's drawing, sculpting, painting or photography...it's all therapeutic for me. I love animals, lets hop in a time machine and ask 5-year-old me what I want to be when I grow up and i bet you the answer will be "a cat!" Philosophy, History, Politics...love it all. CHILDREN! children are our future, I'm the baby of the family and because I've never had any younger siblings I enjoy spending every minute I get with the younger generation. They hold a lot of potential.
