We’re launching Cause On The Rocks with our “I Voted!” Party on November 4th, 2008 in partnership with Pitfire Pizza, The Edison, and Jones Soda as we gather in celebration of our right to vote, regardless of party affiliation.

YOU are invited to join Causecast on Tuesday, November 4th for THE “I VOTED!” PARTY, the kickoff of Cause on the Rocks!

What is Cause on the Rocks? It’s a monthly event sponsored by Causecast where we bring together friends, coworkers, and fellow do-gooders to have a few drinks and raise money for featured nonprofit organizations. We’re launching with our “I Voted!” Party on November 4th, 2008 in partnership with Pitfire Pizza, The Edison, and Jones Soda as we gather in celebration of our right to vote, regardless of party affiliation.

Cast your ballots during the day, and then head over to any one of the three Pitfire Pizza locations from 11 am – 9 pm wearing your “I Voted” sticker and receive your choice of either one bottle of limited edition “Obama/McCain” themed Jones Soda or a bottle of Edison Ale (ages 21 and up, available at N. Hollywood and Downtown locations only). All locations will be also be running a 3-course special of salad, pasta, and dessert for $12.99.

Afterwards head over to The Edison Downtown from 8 pm – 2 am (doors open at 5 pm) for the “I Voted!” Party. Hang out with Causecast leaders Max and Jason, Sarah Carter, Kestrin Pantera, and be a part of a live taping of The Causecat with Nzinga Blake! Other festivities will include live music courtesy of DJs Michael Smith and Kid Lightning, drinks, dancing, and prize giveaways as partygoers watch the election returns come in. Be sure to wear your “I Voted!” sticker here as well to receive one free drink.

Cause on the Rocks is based around the premise of people doing good while having fun. In keeping with this ideal, there will be a $5 suggested donation at the door of The Edison, of which 100% will go to following three nonprofits: Invisible Children, Hip-Hop Summit Action Network, and Farm Sanctuary. Other partners for the evening include TOMS Shoes, FreedomSpeaks.com, Honest Tea, Global Inheritance, Mixergy, LAist, and Music Saves Lives.

It doesn’t matter if you’re Republican, Democrat, Independent, Green, or Libertarian — we all have the right to vote, and that’s something worth celebrating. So save the date, and we look forward to seeing you at Pitfire Pizza and The Edison on Election Day!

Dress code of upscale casual will be strictly enforced at The Edison. No baseball caps, flip-flops or sneakers.
However, The Edison will make a one night only exception for guests wearing TOMS Shoes.
