Public Displays Of Affection is a concert series promoting public and group transportation in Los Angeles.

Constantly battling traffic congestion is nearly a way of life for Southern Californians, and an array of pollution problems as a result. With a ways to go in warming up to the option of public transportation, Los Angeleans are offered to participate in Public Displays Of Affection, which introduces and encourages people to use alternative (and more environmentally friendly) ways to get around. Public Displays Of Affection presents an exciting live music performance at a central location that is easily accessible by public transportation. The only way to get into the concert is with a Metro subway or bus ticket. Public Displays Of Affection shows people that there are viable options for getting around besides driving your car, and offers a great, nearly-free concert!

I like this. A lot of people might be surprised how satisfying it is to take a bus, train, or just walk or bike to somewhere you've always enjoyed going. I do!
